Gambale has done a wide variety of performances in his long illustrious career. In this case Gambale and Maurizio Colonna performed with famous Italian diva Antonella Ruggiero at Italy’s biggest music TV show of the year. Normally the performances on this famous show are glitz and glamour with lots of dancers and explosions. Gambale and Colonna with two acoustic guitars and Antonella singing was such a breath of musical fresh air, the audience was spellbound. Antonella that night won the contest as Best Female Vocal and Best Song. Just goes to show you that the song and two gifted musicians in backing is all you really need.
