This first EP by the French guitarist Julien Bitoun features a scorching blend of rock, country, blues, slide and surf music. The instrumental power trio formula allows the music to properly breathe without being buried under too many notes, and a solo by Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal adds a touch of class to a promising outing.
